When trying a new skincare product, you may experience an initial increase in breakouts or pimples. This is normal as the skin adapts. Continued use often leads to improvement. If irritation persists, discontinue use.
Allergies: This product may contain ingredients that could potentially cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some people. We highly recommend conducting a patch test on a small part of skin before using it on your entire body. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.
How to conduct a patch test:
- Apply the bar to a quarter-sized patch of skin; ideally in an area unlikely to accidentally wash off or rub away (e.g. inside of your arm or bend in your elbow).
- Leave the product on the patch of skin for as long as it would normally be on your skin. For example, soap and shampoo get washed off fairly quickly, so we recommend leaving it on for at least 5 minutes.
- Repeat this test twice daily for 7-10 days. If a reaction/irritation occurs, wash off the patch of skin thoroughly with water and discontinue use.
